PCHLS holding device

PCHLS! - Entry... Clamp... READY!

THE holding device up to 32,000 kg! NOW with LOAD DETECTION!*

If you like to waste significant time as well as additional

If you can do without construction and assembly work, then the PCHLS is the real alternative to any attachment device.

The PCHLS is a hydraulic clamping device which enables the car to be clamped to the guide rail during normal operation of the elevator at every stop, so that the car can be loaded safely and without springing in and out (step formation!). Without having to create additional niches (supports) in the shaft wall or other structural elements - as is the case with a mounting device. As a rule, this means that additional static evidence can be dispensed with.

With LOAD DETECTION:

  • Measurement in CLAMPED condition
  • Sensors on two holding tongs
  • To prepare the drive for the actual load condition
  • Including evaluation unit
  • Suitable for retrofitting

*How does the load weighing device work on the PCHLS?

First of all: It does not matter whether the devices are above or below the sling.
Only the sensors for the respective position must be correctly attached!

Important to know:
It is not a load weighing device that gives you an accurate value for the weight of the car and load. The system only detects whether loading or unloading is taking place and by what value.

  • The load measuring device is used to detect the holding forces on the holding device.
  • The system becomes active and, after the clamp is closed, detects whether the clamping device is absorbing positive or negative holding forces due to the change in the loading condition of the car (loading or unloading).
  • The system detects whether the holding device has to absorb a positive or negative position.
  • If a differential force value is exceeded, the load measuring device controls the drive like an adjustment unit and ensures that the car is held in position.
  • The traction sheave drive and the ropes or the hydraulic power unit and the hydraulic cylinders generate exactly the pretension that corresponds to the current load condition. > Like an adjustment unit!
  • The actual overload detection is then carried out either by a load/tension measurement on the ropes (e.g. via the load detection on our "Balance"-system) or by a pressure switch in the hydraulic circuit.
